Shape international growth | Senior commercial leadership role | Thurnscoe, with UK and international travel

Balmoral Tanks is seeking an ambitious Head of Export Sales to lead our international growth agenda, open new market opportunities and build lasting relationships with customers, distributors and partners across the globe.

This is a high-impact role for a commercially sharp sales leader who can turn strategy into results, inspire performance and help drive the next stage of Balmoral Tanks’ export growth.

What You’ll Lead

  • Create and deliver a focused export sales strategy.
  • Lead, coach and challenge the export sales team and partner network.
  • Unlock new markets, customers and commercial opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, distributors and industry partners.
  • Drive pipeline discipline, CRM accuracy and reliable forecasting.
  • Protect margin through confident pricing and strong commercial judgement.
  • Represent Balmoral Tanks at customer meetings, exhibitions and sector events.

About You

You’ll bring proven export sales leadership experience from a manufacturing, engineering, construction products or industrial environment, together with the drive to grow markets, win business and lead people to deliver.

  • A strong track record in export sales leadership.
  • Commercial confidence, strong negotiation skills and sound judgement.
  • The ability to build credibility with senior customers and partners.
  • A performance-led mindset with high levels of ownership and resilience.
  • Confidence using CRM systems, reporting and sales insight to drive action.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and overseas.
