About The Role
Plymouth City Council is seeking expressions of interest from existing employees within the Facilities Management Service for the role of Head of Facilities Management.

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Council Facilities Management service.
- Act as the Council Competent Person for Facilities Management.
- Lead the delivery of high-quality hard and soft FM services.
- Ensure statutory, health and safety, and legislative compliance.
- Manage significant budgets and resources and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent Facilities Management at senior leadership level across the Council.
About You
- Extensive Facilities Management experience and sector knowledge.
- Membership of a recognised professional body such as CIWFM
- Degree level qualification in an FM or engineering related discipline.
- Senior management experience in a complex FM environment.
- Experience leading hard and soft FM services and managing multi-million-pound budgets.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
