Build something exceptional..
What a fantastic opportunity this is. We're working with a privately owned, premium 30 site business that's growing rapidly and has built an outstanding reputation for creating beautiful customer environments, exceptional service and a culture that genuinely puts people first. Think Hospitality - but with a twist.
This isn't corporate.
There are no endless committees, layers of bureaucracy or decisions that take weeks to make. Instead, you'll join a highly successful but down-to-earth leadership team who will give you the autonomy, trust and support to build a best-in-class Facilities function and genuinely make the role your own.
The business already has solid foundations in place. Things work. Standards are good. But "good" isn't good enough. They're looking for someone who thrives on raising standards, implementing new ideas, developing people and creating a culture where operational excellence simply becomes the norm.
If you're the sort of person who walks into a building and instinctively spots ten things that could be improved, you're probably reading the right advert.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible, field-based leadership role responsible for a growing estate of approximately 30 premium sites across South West London, with ambitious expansion plans already underway. You'll spend the majority of your week out on site, supporting your managers, coaching your teams, building relationships and driving consistently high standards across every location.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This isn't a desk job.
It's a role for someone who enjoys being visible, approachable and genuinely involved in the day-to-day operation. You'll inherit an experienced in-house team of circa 80 spanning Hard Services, Estates, Housekeeping, Logistics and Business Services, with responsibility for developing the function as the business continues to grow.
One of your biggest challenges won't be fixing problems.
It'll be building a high-performance culture where people take ownership, move quickly, embrace change and continually look for better ways of doing things.
We're looking for someone who has...
- Significant experience leading Facilities or Estates across a sizeable multi-site operation.
- Managed in-house operational teams rather than simply overseeing outsourced FM contracts.
- Successfully improved standards, systems and operational performance across multiple locations.
- Led managers, developed teams and created a culture of accountability.
- Experience within premium customer-facing environments such as hospitality, private healthcare, luxury care homes, independent education, Private Members Clubs, health & fitness or similar sectors. Essentially, environments where standards are high.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing significant operational budgets.
- The confidence to challenge, influence and implement change.

This role probably isn't for everyone... It's aimed at the Facilities leader who's becoming frustrated with large corporate organisations where every decision takes weeks, innovation gets buried under process and managing suppliers has replaced leading people. It's for someone who still enjoys walking sites, building relationships, developing great teams and making a genuine difference to the environments people experience every day. It's for someone who wants to be trusted. Someone who wants autonomy. Someone who still has the fire in their belly to build something exceptional.
Location
- The client's estate sits squarely in South West London with only a small number of outliers. You must reside within sensible reach (no more than 1 hour) of this location.
Why join?
- Privately owned, ambitious and growing business.
- Significant investment in the estate.
- Genuine autonomy to shape the Facilities function.
- Supportive, approachable leadership team.
- Premium environments where standards genuinely matter.
- Long-term career opportunity with a business continuing to expand.
