Head of Facilities
Manheim Vehicle Services (MVS)

Location: Bruntingthorpe (also covering Coventry and Wyton)
About the Role
Manheim Vehicle Services (MVS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Facilities to lead facilities management operations across our extensive UK vehicle services estate.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient management of over 900 acres of operational land and more than 100 buildings. You will lead facilities teams across multiple sites, oversee critical maintenance and compliance programmes, manage capital investment projects, and play a key role in shaping the future facilities strategy of the business.
Working closely with senior leaders, Health & Safety teams and external suppliers, you will ensure our facilities support operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Facilities Managers and maintenance teams across multiple sites.
- Oversee reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring service levels and compliance requirements are met.
- Drive statutory compliance across facilities operations, including support for inspections, audits and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and deliver capital investment (CAPEX) and improvement projects from concept through to completion.
- Develop and maintain long-term maintenance and asset management plans.
- Provide facilities expertise relating to COMAH, DSEAR, CDM and wider health and safety legislation.
- Manage facilities expenditure, budgets, forecasting and reporting.
- Procure, manage and review external contractors and service partners.
- Support business growth initiatives through effective estates and facilities planning.
- Contribute to ISO compliance and continuous improvement programmes.

About You
We're looking for a highly credible facilities leader who brings a blend of operational excellence, strategic thinking and strong stakeholder management.
You'll ideally have:
- Significant facilities management, engineering or construction experience within a large, complex multi-site environment.
- Experience managing facilities within industrial, automotive, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety legislation.
- Experience working with COMAH, DSEAR and related regulatory frameworks.
- Proven success delivering large-scale projects and capital investment programmes.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including budget ownership.
- Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience operating effectively with senior leadership teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
