About The Role
We are seeking a committed Head of Faculty Sport, UPS, Finance & Professional to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities.
The postholder will receive a £4,000 annual responsibility allowance in addition to the base salary.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Work with the Director to achieve the vision and strategic priorities of Oldham College
- Provide effective and efficient leadership, management and co-ordination of the Faculty’s staff and resources across all funding streams
- Enhance the operational efficiency and foster the growth of relevant commercial links with industry, while delivering an outstanding service to the Oldham community
- Ensure that the Faculty’s curriculum offer meets the needs of learners, employers and the local community
- Develop and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment methodologies and subject-specific pedagogies based on best practice from evidence-based research
- Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Demonstrate
- Good understanding of learner and customer needs and a successful track record of developing key strategies to deliver a high-quality service in all or some of the specialist areas of this post
- Experience of successfully managing changes to curriculum design and delivery
- Significant experience of raising recruitment and success rates within curriculum areas
- Good understanding of the current Government and national priorities for the FE sector and how this should be applied to the development of the Faculty
- The ability to inspire, enthuse and motivate staff, employers and learners in the workplace
