About the Role
In this critically impactful role, you will shape the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) product portfolio, driving overall strategy and market positioning for one of the newest (and most exciting) emerging business units at Swift. This senior leadership opportunity demands a strong strategic mind, unprecedented product rigor, and an interpersonal knack to collaborate successfully with customers, alliances, internal teams and partners.
Reporting into the Head of Product Portfolio, you will:
- Lead and develop a dedicated team into a centre of excellence in FCC Product Management – visible internally and committed to the client.
- Define and evolve portable financial crime compliance solutions for the global ecosystem—responsive to all customer needs, focused on regulatory priorities, embedded deeply within the revolution in regulated services at Swift.
- Champion outside-in market analysis and turn it into decisive product strategy.
- Build a 100% customer-focused product governance model, rooted in working solutions and capable products—not only for today, but also for the next era of compliance diagnostics, analytics and automated reporting.
- Shape market perception through award-winning adoption, sales enablement and compelling ecosystem value integration—sustaining Swift’s leadership position as the only platform providing global network-native solutions to minimise real-time loss, prevent negative impact on clients and minimise allocation for instances of abusive financial activity.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensure a clear and differentiated value proposition across the FCC portfolio.
- Anticipate industry trends and regulatory developments with keen market insights.
- Translate strategic perspectives into commercial actionable strategies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
