Head of Field Sales – South

The Head of Sales South is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving the growth of revenue through both new business acquisition and existing client expansion. This role requires a highly experienced individual with a strong background in managing remote sales teams, developing sales strategies, building and nurturing key partnerships, and fostering long-term client relationships. The Head of Sales South will work closely with their North counterpart and the Sales Director to develop and execute strong sales plans and growth whilst ensuring engagement and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets across the division and be strategic about what target grounds in your division are given each quarter to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Devise strong action plans to attain sales objectives and work collaboratively with North/South Head of Counterpart to ensure you have equally strong and attainable plans to achieve and succeed.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a motivated and high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and New Business Execs (NBEs).
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and continuous development opportunities for the team and obtain feedback.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure processes, deadlines, and activities are activated throughout the business.
  • Stay informed about and share updates regarding market developments, competitor activities, and general market conditions that impact the business.

Requirements for the Head of Field Sales South:

  • Effective leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse sales team towards achieving targets and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in analysing sales data, KPIs, and market trends to make informed decisions and optimise results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate sales strategies, provide feedback, and engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key salon partners and clients to drive sales growth.
  • Skilled in generating and presenting detailed sales reports to evaluate team performance and guide decision-making.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable agreements with partners and clients.
