As the Foundation continues to grow its reach and influence, we are seeking a Head of Finance to play a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the organisation.
This is an opportunity for an exceptional finance professional who is motivated by purpose and wants to use their expertise to support one of the most important missions of our generation. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will help ensure the Foundation's substantial resources are managed with the highest levels of integrity, effectiveness and accountability, enabling the organisation to deploy capital where it can have the greatest impact on climate outcomes.

Finance is a strategic function within Quadrature Climate Foundation. Beyond ensuring strong financial stewardship, the team provides the insight, systems and controls that support effective decision-making across the organisation.
As Head of Finance, you will lead the financial control function, oversee financial reporting, planning and compliance, and help shape a finance operation that is fit for a dynamic and ambitious foundation. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, translating complex financial information into meaningful insight and helping leaders make informed decisions in support of the Foundation's mission.
You will also have the opportunity to drive improvements in systems, processes and reporting, ensuring the finance function continues to evolve alongside the Foundation's growing ambitions.
About You
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical expertise and a track record of leading high-quality finance operations.
You may already be operating at Head of Finance level, or you may be a talented financial controller ready to take the next step. Either way, you will bring a combination of technical credibility, commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills.
You will be comfortable operating in a complex environment, leading audits and statutory reporting processes, developing robust financial controls and partnering with senior stakeholders.

Experience of charity accounting and the Charity SORP would be valuable, although we are equally interested in candidates with strong experience gained in other sectors who are excited by the Foundation's mission.
