HEAD OF FINANCE

Worcester

Salary up to £85,000

Company Car / Allowance (£625 per month)

We just joined a $7.9bn global business. You could help shape and drive what's next.

Compco has been built over 35+ years into one of the UK's largest fire engineering businesses. This year, our parent, WTech Fire Group, was acquired by APi Group Corporation (a global fire and life safety giant with 500+ locations, 29,000+ people and operations in 20+ countries).

It’s an exciting time offering huge opportunity.

You'd be joining Compco at the exact moment we join serious global infrastructure, new resources, new systems, new ambition, while still being financially strong, well-run and stable enough that you're not firefighting from day one. You will manage and support an established accounts team controlling our Blue-chip client book, which includes the likes of M&S, NHS, Asda, Premier Inn, Starbucks, IKEA, Rolls Royce, AstraZeneca, and more.

We’ve got real momentum and now it needs someone to own the finance function through this next chapter.

  • Scale without red tape. Backed by a global platform, but you'll still be the finance leader in the room, shaping strategy, driving efficiencies and making real impact, not just reporting on it.
  • A growth story, not a rescue mission. You're building on strong foundations, not fixing a broken function.
  • Genuine influence. You report straight to the CEO.
  • Modernisation with a mandate. Real scope to drive systems, automation and process change, not just maintain what's here.
  • A platform for your own next move. Being part of a $7.9bn global group opens doors that a standalone SME can't.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
