Head of Finance – Engineering & Manufacturing

📍 Location: Leicestershire
💰 Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + benefits
🌍 £30m Business Unit | €2bn International Group

Are you a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys influencing business decisions rather than simply reporting the numbers? Would you like to take financial ownership of a £30m manufacturing business, with the backing of a €2bn global organisation? Looking for an opportunity that offers genuine progression towards a Finance Director position?

I'm supporting an established international engineering manufacturer in the appointment of a Head of Finance.

The business designs and manufactures specialist process equipment, including filtration and separation technologies, for customers across aerospace, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, and general industry.

Operating as a £30m business unit within a €2bn German-headquartered group, the organisation combines the resources and stability of a global business with the autonomy and influence of a smaller manufacturing operation.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible, commercially focused leadership role where you'll take ownership of financial performance while working closely with the senior leadership team.

You'll oversee everything from management accounts, budgeting and forecasting through to manufacturing cost control, working capital, financial reporting, and strategic business partnering.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
