About the Trust
The Queen Elizabeth Trust is a new, ambitious UK-wide independent charity established to deliver a lasting legacy to the extraordinary life of service of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
Inspired by Queen Elizabeth's belief that "everyone is our neighbour", the Trust works hand in hand with communities to restore and sustain the buildings, green spaces and shared places that bring people together across generations and from all walks of life. Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will lead the development of the Trust's finance, treasury, investment and operational functions, overseeing a growing endowment currently valued at £40m. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, building systems, influencing decision making and helping establish the foundations of a high-impact organisation from the ground up.

Required Skills and Experience

- Qualified accountant with significant senior experience
- Expertise in financial leadership, treasury management, governance and organisational development
- Comfortable advising boards, developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done
- Commercially astute, highly collaborative and low ego
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Bring structure to ambiguity
- Communicate complex financial matters with clarity and confidence
