Head of Finance – Ealing

Reporting To: Managing Director / SCG

Package: Competitive Salary + Benefits (Commensurate with experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

As a Private Equity asset-backed operational business, we operate at the intersection of media infrastructure, real estate, and hospitality. Following recent capital investment and redevelopment, we are seeking an agile, commercially minded, and hands-on finance leader to drive our day-to-day finance function and shape our future operational standards.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal finance leadership role within an active, multi-tenant operating environment. You will be responsible for stabilising and elevating the core financial control environment while taking ownership of an exciting finance transformation agenda.

With an ongoing external review of our finance function, you will have a direct mandate to modernise our systems, automate manual processes, and build a best-in-class reporting framework for both internal management and PE sponsor stakeholders.

Note: We are open to shaping this role around the right individual — whether you are a proven, hands-on Financial Controller or a Head of Finance ready to drive full operational change.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Core Control

  • Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, robust review controls, and balance sheet reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, accruals, prepayments).
  • Prepare high-quality management accounts, variance analysis, operational KPIs, and executive board/sponsor reporting packs.
  • Ensure reporting is fast, reliable, and directly aids commercial decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
