Head of Finance

Consumer HealthTech | London (Hybrid) | £100,000–£110,000 + Benefits

Talentedge is partnering with a high-growth consumer health-tech business to appoint a Head of Finance. The company is developing innovative products that combine technology, data and consumer healthcare to improve everyday health and wellbeing.

This is an opportunity to join a commercially ambitious business at an important stage of its growth, taking ownership of the finance function and helping shape the next phase of its development.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will lead the finance function, combining strong financial control with forward-looking commercial insight. You will be responsible for ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure, reporting and strategic support required to scale effectively.

The role will suit someone who enjoys operating in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment while bringing the structure and commercial discipline needed in a growing consumer products business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function, taking ownership of financial reporting, management accounts, statutory compliance and the annual audit.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes, providing clear insight to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team on commercial performance, growth initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Develop robust financial models, scenario planning and cash flow forecasts to support the business’s growth strategy.
  • Provide meaningful analysis of revenue, gross margin, product profitability, customer acquisition costs and other key commercial drivers.
  • Work closely with commercial, operations and product teams to improve financial visibility and support profitable growth.
  • Strengthen financial controls, processes and systems, ensuring the finance function can scale alongside the business.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, building capability and establishing clear ownership across the function.
  • Support board and investor reporting, translating financial performance into actionable commercial insight.
  • Act as a key financial partner on new product launches, market expansion and wider strategic projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong technical accounting and financial control capabilities, combined with commercial finance and FP&A experience.
  • Comfortable operating in a scaling business, with the ability to build processes and improve systems rather than simply maintain established structures.
  • Experience partnering with founders, CEOs or senior leadership teams and presenting financial information to boards or investors.
  • Strong understanding of product economics, margin management, inventory and working capital would be beneficial.
  • A hands-on, commercially minded leader who can operate strategically while remaining close to the detail.
