Head of Finance | PE-Backed B2B SaaS | Remote + Travel
Camino Search is partnering with an international PE-backed B2B SaaS business to appoint a highly experienced Head of Finance, reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a senior finance leadership appointment for an established Finance Leader with 15+ years of progressive experience, ideally including significant time operating at Head of Finance, Finance Director, VP Finance or CFO level.
The business is a profitable, international B2B SaaS company with an established global customer base. Following PE investment, it is entering an ambitious new phase of growth, with a clear agenda around international expansion, operational scalability, finance transformation and long-term value creation.
The Head of Finance will become a key strategic partner to the CFO, taking substantial ownership across the finance organisation while helping shape the infrastructure, insight and operating model required to support the next stage of growth.
The mandate combines strategic finance, FP&A and business partnering with leadership of a complex international finance environment, alongside a significant transformation and value-creation agenda.

- Act as a senior sparring partner to the CFO, executive leadership team and wider business
- Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering, driving greater commercial and strategic insight across the organisation
- Develop management reporting and visibility across ARR, recurring revenue, profitability and wider SaaS KPIs
- Oversee Group Finance across a complex international, multi-entity environment
- Lead the continued professionalisation of consolidation, reporting, controls and international accounting
- Drive the evolution of finance systems, automation and processes, building a scalable infrastructure for the next stage of growth
- Provide senior ownership across international tax, treasury, audit and statutory requirements
- Lead, develop and continue to build the finance organisation
- Support the CFO across M&A and post-acquisition integration
- Work closely with senior leadership and the PE shareholder across the broader value-creation agenda
The Profile
We are looking for an established senior finance leader, rather than someone making their first move into a Head of Finance position.
You will ideally bring:
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including substantial senior leadership responsibility
- Previous experience as a CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance or senior Head of Finance
- Experience within B2B SaaS, software or a recurring-revenue technology environment
- Strong FP&A and business partnering capability, with a track record of influencing senior commercial and operational stakeholders
- Strong technical finance foundations across international accounting, consolidation, reporting and controls
- Experience operating across multiple entities, jurisdictions and currencies
- A strong understanding of SaaS economics and KPIs, including ARR and recurring revenue
- Experience leading finance transformation, systems improvement, automation or ERP programmes
- A track record of building, developing and leading high-performing finance teams
- The ability to operate strategically with the CFO and executive team while remaining sufficiently close to the detail to drive execution
