Head of Finance Role

A highly successful and exciting growing SME consumer business are seeking to hire a Head of Finance to their expanding team reporting to the CEO. The company has seen strong growth and is expanding extensively. My client has built a successful brand in the sector in recent years with impressive and significant success both financially and in growth, including industry awards for both business and culture.

Role Overview

You will report to the CEO and be responsible for leading finance day-to-day. As the Head of Finance, this role will be a broad finance role both financially and commercially focused across the business. You will be responsible for finance but having the benefit of an outsourced finance team who oversee financial controls, accounting, and transactional across the business. You will play a key role in leading the growth agenda and work closely with senior leadership to provide insight into financial performance and key metrics. You will be involved in day-to-day FPA in budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis for the business and also, someone to lead business partnering with non-finance. You will be developing the Data, Analytics, and providing business insight. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in business case, investment appraisal, and strategic project work too.

Requirements

The successful candidate for the Head of Finance must be a qualified accountant. You will have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience of working within a multi-site sector - Retail, Hospitality, or Leisure - You will combine this with a positive and innovative attitude, constantly looking to improve and drive performance. You will demonstrate the ability to operate commercially and work with senior colleagues in the business. This is a perfect role for someone who is excited by an opportunity to really have the autonomy and breadth of role.

Compensation and Location

This role will be paying a strong basic salary, bonus, and benefits package. Hybrid working is in full operation with offices in Central London (Zone 1).
