About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and experienced finance professional to join our team as Head of Finance.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function and act as a trusted business partner across the organisation.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, extending beyond traditional financial reporting. You will work closely with colleagues across acquisition, development, leasing, and asset management, providing financial insight and challenge to support sound decision-making and the performance of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and meaningful management information.
  • Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
  • Analyse portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to enhance returns, reduce risk, and unlock value.
  • Provide financial oversight and challenge across leasing, investment, development, and refurbishment projects.
  • Support acquisitions from initial appraisal through to completion.
  • Review development appraisals, project viability, build costs, and programme assumptions, ensuring investment decisions are commercially sound.
  • Oversee financial planning, banking relationships, and covenant management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting, and business processes.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, helping teams improve performance, accountability, and commercial awareness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
