Head of Finance

A growing PE-backed SaaS and data consultancy business is seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance to lead its finance function and support the next phase of growth. The business operates a recurring revenue model and works with a broad range of public and private sector clients.
Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all core finance operations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, lender management, and acquisition integration activities. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance function to support business growth.
- Oversee AP, Credit Control, Payroll, Cash Management, and General Ledger activities.
- Deliver monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, and board commentary.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial planning.
- Support acquisition onboarding and post-deal integration.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and lender reporting requirements.
- Implement and enhance financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Manage audit, tax, compliance, board, and investor reporting activities.
To Be Suitable
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualified experience.
- Experience within SaaS, technology, or PE/VC-backed businesses.
- Strong background in financial control, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience managing lender relationships and covenant reporting.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics and IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
- Experience with systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
- Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
