Head of Finance

London (Hybrid)

We're working with a venture-backed AI software business that is helping some of the world's largest organisations make better decisions on complex, high-value projects.

Following a period of significant growth, the company is looking to hire a commercially minded finance professional to become a key member of the leadership team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-scaling SaaS business where finance sits at the centre of strategic decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders, investors, and department heads.

This role offers a broad remit across FP&A, financial control, group reporting, tax, audit, systems improvement, and team management. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping processes, driving commercial insight, and helping build a best-in-class finance function as the business continues to scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance & FP&A

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Maintain and develop the group's integrated financial model.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, KPI analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Support board reporting, fundraising initiatives, and investor communications.
  • Partner with commercial teams to improve revenue reporting and business insight.
  • Provide scenario modelling and strategic analysis to support key decisions.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
