A fast-growing, biotech-first skin health and devices brand is looking for a commercially sharp Head of Finance to lead its financial function from London.

The role

As Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the financial engine behind an ambitious, founder-led business. This is a role for someone who wants to shape financial strategy, not just report on it. You will build the structures, controls and insight that let leadership make fast, confident decisions in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, collections and supplier payment processes
  • Overseeing bank reconciliations, cash tracking and end-to-end cash flow visibility
  • Leading month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership
  • Maintaining a clean general ledger and robust financial documentation standards
  • Delivering monthly management accounts, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
  • Managing the relationship with external accountants on VAT, statutory filings, audits and year-end accounts
  • Building and embedding scalable financial processes, controls and governance
  • Owning real-time visibility of cash position, burn rate and runway
  • Tracking spend against budget and flagging risks, overruns or variances before they land
  • Leading annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with a practical, commercially grounded approach
  • Analysing product margins, COGS and SKU-level profitability to inform commercial strategy
  • Partnering on pricing, promotions, new launches and channel performance
  • Building KPI dashboards across DTC, retail, clinical and wholesale channels
  • Providing financial modelling and analysis that directly shapes senior leadership decisions
  • Leading fundraising support, including financial analysis and diligence materials

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
