As Deputy Section 151 Officer, the postholder will support and, when required, deputise for the Borough Treasurer in discharging the statutory duties under Section 151 of the Local Government Act 1972 for the proper administration of the Council’s financial affairs. The role is critical to delivering sound financial planning, accurate reporting, value for money, and support for the Council’s priorities and transformation.
