A fast-growing acquisitive business based in Kingston is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. Having recently secured several significant contracts, the business is investing heavily in its finance function and is now seeking a Head of Finance & Transformation to play a pivotal role in its next chapter.

Your New Role

This is a unique opportunity to combine finance leadership, business transformation and technology innovation in a highly visible role.

As Head of Finance & Transformation, you will lead a team of four and take ownership of the finance function while driving a significant programme of change across systems, processes and reporting.

Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team and operational stakeholders, you will champion continuous improvement, challenge existing ways of working and utilise technology to improve efficiency and business performance.

A key focus of the role will be leading the selection and implementation of a new ERP system. You will play a central role in evaluating solutions, managing implementation partners and ensuring the successful adoption of new technology across the business.

Alongside transformation responsibilities, you will oversee management accounts, commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering and financial controls, providing meaningful insight to support strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for a finance leader who genuinely enjoys working with people, embraces change and is passionate about using technology to drive business improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership position.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Experience leading finance transformation projects and driving process improvement.
  • Hands-on involvement in ERP selection, implementation or major finance systems projects.
  • Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior leaders across the organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large and complex data sets.
  • A passion for technology and leveraging systems to improve performance, reporting and decision-making.
