We're partnering with a well-established care charity to recruit an Interim Head of Finance for an initial six-month contract.
Joining at a pivotal time, you'll lead the finance function through the annual budgeting cycle while driving improvements to financial planning and forecasting. A key priority will be supporting the implementation of a new planning tool, helping to enhance reporting, business partnering and financial insight across the organisation. There is a possibility the role could go permanent for the right candidate.

- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning process.
- Support the implementation of a new financial planning system.
- Produce insightful management reporting and financial analysis.
- Partner with budget holders and senior leaders to support decision-making.
- Oversee monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and financial controls.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and develop a small finance team.
About you
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with experience leading finance in a complex organisation.

- Strong budgeting, forecasting and FP&A experience.
- A commercial, business-partnering approach.
- Experience improving finance processes or implementing planning/reporting systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
- Charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
