Head of Finance

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Performance Bonus

Help Shape the Future of a Growing UK Manufacturer

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer operating within the fire safety sector, delivering innovative, life-saving solutions to some of the country's most prestigious residential and commercial developments. With ambitious growth plans, a strong reputation for quality and an entrepreneurial culture, the business is entering an exciting new phase of its journey.

They are now looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to join the Senior Leadership Team.

This isn't a role for someone looking to simply oversee month-end and keep the wheels turning. Our client is seeking someone who wants to become an integral part of the leadership team, helping to shape the future direction of the business and build a finance function that supports sustainable, profitable growth.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a successful, privately owned SME at a pivotal point in its growth.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide commercial insight, challenge decision making, improve financial visibility and help steer the business through its next stage of organic growth.

This role would suit someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves when needed but is equally comfortable sitting around the board table discussing strategy, investment opportunities and long-term business performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
