I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to report on the numbers. You’ll be the financial owner of a growing multi-site business, working directly with the CEO and leadership team to understand what is happening across the estate, why it is happening, and what should happen next. The business is already operating profitably across multiple locations, with further expansion planned. You’ll have the opportunity to build the financial infrastructure, reporting, and processes needed to support that growth.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience
  • Equity opportunity
  • 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays
  • Additional day of annual leave for every year of service
  • Significant autonomy and direct access to the CEO
  • A genuinely influential role within a growing creative business
  • Access to studio facilities across music, podcasting, photography, video, and content

If you’re an ambitious finance professional with proven multi-site experience, who enjoys combining commercial thinking with hands-on delivery and wants to help build something rather than simply inherit it, we’d be keen to hear from you.
