For an ambitious finance leader, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Our client is seeking a commercially minded and forward-thinking Head of Finance to join their senior finance team. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic planning, business partnering and financial stewardship, offering the chance to influence key decisions and help shape the future direction of a successful and evolving organisation.
Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, you will lead the financial planning agenda, providing insight, challenge and guidance that supports sustainable growth, effective decision-making and long-term success.
What You'll Be Doing
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You will be at the heart of the organisation, helping leaders understand performance, identify opportunities and navigate future challenges.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Delivering meaningful financial insight and performance analysis
- Partnering with operational and executive stakeholders across the business
- Developing financial models, business cases and investment appraisals
- Driving continuous improvement across reporting, systems and processes
- Supporting strategic initiatives and organisational change programmes
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team
- Building a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial thinking

About You
We're keen to speak with qualified finance professionals who combine strong technical expertise with an engaging and collaborative leadership style.
You are likely to bring:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or financial leadership roles
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- The ability to influence, challenge and build relationships with senior stakeholders
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Experience leading teams and driving positive change
- A passion for using financial insight to support better business decisions
