HEAD OF FINANCE
Executive Finance Leadership | International Professional Services Group | Private Equity Environment
We are working confidentially with a leading international provider of corporate, fund and governance services, operating across multiple jurisdictions and backed by a leading private equity sponsor. The business is executing an ambitious growth and transformation agenda across its finance organisation, and is now seeking an outstanding Head of Finance to become a key leadership partner and help shape the future of the Group's finance function.
This is a career-defining opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys building teams, improving controls, driving transformation and operating at the heart of a growing international business. The role combines strategic leadership, financial stewardship and operational execution, and will be instrumental in building a scalable finance function capable of supporting the Group's next phase of growth. It aligns with a broader finance transformation structure currently being developed across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Group's accounting, financial control, treasury, reporting, tax coordination and finance transformation activities.

- Close and Governance Processes
- Finance Transformation Programmes

You will help establish the standards, disciplines and leadership capability required for a modern, high-performing international finance organisation.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Finance Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance organisation.
- Drive accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
- Build leadership capability and succession plans.
- Partner closely with operational and executive stakeholders.
Financial Reporting & Control
- Own the integrity of Group financial reporting.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
- Ensure robust balance sheet governance and controls.
- Maintain strong accounting policy and compliance frameworks.
- Deliver timely and accurate management information.
Group Accounting & Consolidation
- Lead the Group consolidation process.
- Oversee intercompany accounting and eliminations.
- Ensure consistency of accounting approaches across jurisdictions.
- Manage significant accounting judgements and technical accounting matters.
Transformation Leadership
- Drive finance transformation initiatives.
- Improve processes, controls and reporting quality.
- Lead ERP optimisation and reporting enhancements.
- Support implementation of automation and data solutions.
- Support finance integration of acquired businesses.

Board & Investor Support
- Support Board reporting.
- Partner with the CFO and Head of FP&A on investor, lender and audit requirements.
- Deliver meaningful insights and financial analysis to support decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Significant post-qualified finance leadership experience.
- Strong financial control and consolidation expertise.
- Multi-jurisdictional reporting experience.
- Demonstrable finance transformation experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.
- Commercial mindset combined with strong technical accounting skills.
Particularly Attractive Experience
- PE-backed businesses.
- Professional services or fund administration.
- Business Central experience.
- OneStream, LucaNet or other consolidation systems.
- Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
