A respected purpose-led organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join its senior leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the finance function, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial controls, reporting, forecasting, and governance across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide commercial insight and financial leadership while helping to drive organisational performance and continuous improvement.

πŸ”Ή Key Responsibilities
βœ” Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial reporting
βœ” Provide financial insight and management information to support strategic decisions
βœ” Partner with senior leaders to drive organisational performance and financial planning
βœ” Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance processes
βœ” Oversee finance systems and support ongoing process improvements
βœ” Manage relationships with auditors, suppliers, and external service providers
βœ” Support risk management and business planning activities
βœ” Drive operational efficiency through improved systems and controls
βœ” Lead and develop members of the finance team
βœ” Contribute to wider organisational strategy as part of the leadership team

βœ” Professional accounting qualification
βœ” Previous experience leading a finance function
βœ” Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills
βœ” Confident business partnering with senior stakeholders
βœ” Experience with Microsoft Business Central
βœ” Knowledge of Dynamics and Power Automate
βœ” Systems implementation and process improvement experience
βœ” Experience managing user access and business systems
βœ” Able to turn financial data into meaningful business insights
βœ” Commercially minded with strong financial controls knowledge
βœ” Experience managing external suppliers and auditors
βœ” SORP experience
βœ” Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
