Head of Finance | Global Luxury Fashion Brand | £90,000-£100,000 + Bonus | London (Hybrid, 3 days office)

A £50 million turnover luxury fashion brand is looking to appoint a Head of Finance in what is a newly created role, based in their London Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious business that has doubled its revenue over the past five years and is entering the next phase of its growth journey. With a clearly defined five-year strategy in place, the company is focused on accelerating both its UK presence and international expansion.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high impact leadership role where you will lead all statutory reporting, technical accounting, tax compliance, and financial operations across its international group. You will be responsible for driving change and automation across financial controls and operations in order to support the business in their future growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead statutory reporting and global audit processes across multiple international entities, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely filings
  • Own the month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany, and technical accounting guidance
  • Manage tax compliance requirements and oversee relationships with outsourced accounting and tax advisors across all regions
  • Provide strong financial governance, enhancing internal controls and documentation
  • Lead, support, and develop the Financial Controller and indirectly the AP/AR team, embedding accountability and continuous improvement
  • Drive process optimization including automation, ERP enhancements, and potential future systems implementation
  • Build credibility with senior commercial stakeholders, maintaining robust financial discipline while supporting accelerated international growth
  • Strengthen consolidation, reporting quality, and alignment between global finance teams

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) - Big 4 preferred
  • Strong statutory reporting and audit background
  • Experience within retail, fashion, or consumer products industry
  • Experience leading multi-entity, multi-currency reporting in a complex international environment
  • Experience leading finance operations teams (AP/AR) and implementing strong controls across transactional finance
  • Proven leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing teams at varying levels
  • Comfortable implementing structure, process, and driving automation
