A market-leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance Transformation to lead a high-profile finance transformation programme following the acquisition of a substantial global business.
This is a critical leadership role overseeing the integration of a complex international finance function spanning multiple jurisdictions, legal entities, ERP platforms, reporting environments, and operating models. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Operations, and Corporate Development, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless integration while creating a scalable finance function for future growth.
This assignment will suit a hands-on transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale post-acquisition integrations within complex multinational organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall finance integration and transformation programme following a significant international acquisition.
- Develop and execute the finance integration strategy across a large number of global entities.
- Establish programme governance, workstreams, milestones, and reporting mechanisms.
- Harmonise financial reporting, planning, controls, processes, and policies across the combined organisation.
- Drive standardisation of finance operations, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Oversee ERP and finance systems integration activities in partnership with Technology teams.
- Assess and optimise organisational structures, roles, and responsibilities across the enlarged finance function.
- Lead finance process redesign initiatives to improve efficiency, control, and scalability.
- Ensure alignment of statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates to executive leadership and the board.
- Build and lead a high-performing programme team consisting of internal resources and external advisors.
- Identify and mitigate programme risks while ensuring delivery against ambitious timelines.

We are seeking an exceptional transformation leader who combines strong technical finance expertise with extensive programme leadership experience.
Key requirements include:
- Proven track record leading large-scale finance transformation and post-merger integration programmes.
- Experience integrating complex international businesses with operations across multiple countries and legal entities.
- Strong understanding of global finance operating models, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience delivering ERP and finance systems transformation projects.
- Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, highly visible, and complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing executive teams and boards.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent).
- Background within large multinational organisations, private equity-backed businesses, or major consulting firms would be highly advantageous.
- Comfortable balancing strategic programme leadership with hands-on delivery.
