Head of Finance | PE-Backed Renewables Business | Central London
I’m working with a rapidly scaling PE-backed Renewable Energy Developer and Operator that is looking for a Head of Finance to build and lead its finance function from the ground up. The business has recently secured significant institutional funding, with a further capital raise planned next year.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be the first permanent senior finance hire, transitioning the business from an outsourced model to a best-in-class internal finance function.
The Role:
- Financial reporting, controls and audit
- FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
- Treasury, cash management and liquidity
- Financing and capital planning
- Finance transformation and systems development
- Building and developing the finance team

What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
- 5+ years' PQE with experience at Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Group FC or similar
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and FP&A experience
- Experience in a capital-intensive environment
- Strong understanding of treasury, cash flow and financial controls
- A track record of improving or building finance processes
- Commercial, hands-on and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment
- Experience across energy, renewables or utilities is required

Package:
- £100,000–£120,000 base salary
- Up to 40% discretionary bonus
- Central London
- Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH
