Head of Financial Control | Restaurants | London | Hybrid | £100-110k base plus package
A global restaurant business is looking to recruit an ACA qualified (or equivalent) candidate to lead its financial control team.
Reporting to the CFO and running the team, main responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the management accounts preparation and ensuring timely closure of month-, quarter- and year end
- Prepare technical accounting papers required by the Board and auditors
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group
- Ensuring VAT and tax compliance
- Maintaining strong financial controls, supporting governance and compliance initiatives to end-to-end management of the audit process.
- Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
- Work closely with the Head of FP&A to ensure reconciliation between statutory and management accounts
- Support the CFO with ad hoc requirements

You will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with a background in group finance. Knowledge of lease accounting and inter-company transfer pricing and consolidation is highly desirable as is previous team management experience.
This is a senior role in the business where you will be dealing with senior internal stakeholders as well as external parties in a business which continues to grow.
