About Client Financial Management

The Financial Management function is responsible for the delivery of all financial management activity undertaken for our clients within the JLL Property Management (PM) business. The function comprises five core teams, each providing critical services to our clients and our business:

  • Accounts Receivable (c.60 UK colleagues, supported by c. 25 JBS colleagues)
  • Treasury & Control (10 UK colleagues, c.50 JBS colleagues)
  • Accounts Payable (c. 70 JBS colleagues only)
  • Property Accounting, including Fund Accounting (c. 150 UK colleagues, supported by c. 40 JBS colleagues) – formerly Client Accounts
  • Supplier Engagement Team (c. 15 UK colleagues working with the JBS AP colleagues)

The primary focus of the services is for the UK Property Management business, but the teams also support the broader EMEA Property Management business, most notably in Ireland. The role will have direct line management responsibility for the UK colleagues listed above.

These teams deliver all financial accounting and operational services for our clients, including collection of income due from occupiers, payment and reconciliation of service charges, treasury management, fund administration, supplier payment and engagement, and all associated financial accounting activity. Combined, the function operates across the UK and India (JBS), with significant scale and scope across our client portfolio.

Given the inherently high risk within the PM business and the requirement for compliance with RICS and HMRC regulation, adherence to documented controls and procedures is critical. An annual ISAE 3402 third-party controls assurance report setting out the key controls important to our clients evidences this compliance.

Role Purpose

As Head of Financial Management, you will lead and develop the five financial management teams, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement whilst creating a thriving culture of accountability and professional excellence. You will combine relentless focus on operational delivery with vision for transformation, working seamlessly with our UK and offshore (JBS) teams to ensure best-practice execution at scale. Your leadership will be visible, purposeful, and values-driven, setting the tone for a culture of integrity, service excellence, and sustainable performance improvement.

This role will report into the Head of Operations for the UK Property Management business and work closely with cross-functional PM UK leadership (as part of the UK Property Management Leadership Team) to ensure successful delivery of financial management activity for our clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
