Head of Financial Operations

Core3 is delighted to be working with a growing, private equity-backed business to recruit a Head of Financial Operations to join its finance leadership team.

  • Combine operational leadership with continuous improvement
  • Drive efficiencies, strengthening controls, and creating scalable processes that support the next phase of the business's growth

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead the day-to-day financial operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Banking
  • Own working capital performance, cash flow forecasting, and treasury activities
  • Drive financial control across transactional finance processes
  • Lead the implementation of a new finance system, supporting process design, testing, and successful delivery
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Oversee month-end activities across the transactional finance function
  • Support audit requirements and maintain a strong control environment
  • Develop and lead a high-performing transactional finance team
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve finance processes and performance
  • Prepare the finance function for the future integration of payroll

Why you're a great fit

  • Significant experience leading transactional finance or financial operations teams
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, treasury, and financial controls
  • Experience leading finance transformation or ERP implementation projects
  • Proven ability to improve processes, automate activities, and strengthen financial controls
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
