Head of Financial Operations
At Ventrica, we believe great customer experiences are built by great people. We work with leading brands to deliver outstanding customer experiences, combining talented people, technology and insight.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Head of Financial Operations to join our finance leadership team and play a key role in ensuring the business has the financial insight and operational control it needs to perform at its best.
What you will do
Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the Ventrica Group.
You'll lead a talented finance team and be responsible for ensuring our management information, cashflow, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis are accurate, timely and genuinely useful to the wider business.
This is a hands-on leadership role which requires someone prepared to roll up their sleeves as well as lead the team. You'll be close enough to the detail to understand what's happening in the numbers, while also being able to step back and explain what those numbers mean for the business.
You'll work closely with the CFO, and senior team across Ventrica, helping provide accurate, reliable financial information to allow the team to run the business effectively.

- Ensure monthly and quarterly reporting is accurate and delivered on time including responsibility for managing month end processes and ledger updates
- Prepare and upload monthly and quarterly submissions to Dynamo for Mobeus (our PE investor).
Cashflow
- Prepare and reconcile regular detailed cashflow forecasts for group companies
- Monitor actual performance against forecast
- Identify potential cashflow risks and opportunities and escalate them to the CFO
- Work with teams across the business to ensure expected income and expenditure are accurately reflected in forecasts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
