The Opportunity
Finatal are partnering with a Private Equity-backed SaaS business who is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Head of FP&A to join its leadership team.
With revenues of approximately £30m, EBITDA margins of 40-50%, and a proven growth trajectory driven by both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, the business is entering an exciting phase of development. Working directly with an experienced CFO, this role will be instrumental in building a best-in-class FP&A function capable of supporting the next stage of value creation.
This is a highly visible position offering regular exposure to the Board, Senior Leadership Team and Private Equity investors, providing an opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across the business.
The Role
The Head of FP&A will take ownership of transforming and professionalising the planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities of the business. While the role carries significant strategic responsibility, success will require a hands-on approach, with the ability to roll up their sleeves and build processes, tools and reporting structures from the ground up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
