Head of FP&A

Financial Services

London

£100,000 base + bonus + private medical cover

We are partnering exclusively with a PE-backed specialist financial services business who are in the midst of an ambitious buy and build strategy.

The business is seeking a Head of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function whilst playing a pivotal role in supporting strategic investment and M&A activity.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible position offering significant exposure to the Executive Committee and the opportunity to influence key commercial and strategic decisions.

This role would suit an experienced FP&A professional looking to step into a broader strategic leadership position with significant exposure to M&A, Executive-level decision making and value creation within a growing, investor backed financial services business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long range planning processes across the business
  • Developing robust financial models, scenario analysis and forecasting assumptions to support strategic decision making
  • Producing insightful management reporting with meaningful analysis and commentary for the Executive Committee and Board
  • Supporting a highly active acquisition strategy through financial modelling, valuations, due diligence and investment analysis
  • Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to evaluate strategic opportunities and commercial initiatives
  • Managing and developing direct reports whilst continuing to enhance the FP&A function
  • Working collaboratively with finance teams across the UK to improve reporting, planning and financial insight
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, data quality and financial reporting capabilities
  • Providing proactive financial challenge and commercial insight, helping shape business decisions rather than simply reporting outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
