Head of Financial Reporting | Manchester | Hybrid | FTC
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing business to find a Head of Financial Reporting who loves bringing clarity, structure and confidence to a fast-moving finance environment.
If you enjoy leading talented people, improving processes and being the person others rely on for technical guidance, this role offers real influence and variety.
Responsibilities
- Leading the Group reporting cycle, from monthly close through to year-end accounts and consolidated statements.
- Working closely with auditors to deliver a smooth, timely audit.
- Supporting the management accounts team and ensuring accurate, well-controlled month-end results.
- Managing tax compliance (Corporation Tax, VAT, forecasting, and external submissions).
- Preparing clear technical papers for complex transactions such as acquisitions or restructures.
- Helping shape Group accounting policies and advising on IFRS matters.
- Ensuring strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

About you
- ACA qualified Accountant with strong Group reporting experience.
- Confident with IFRS, technical accounting, and complex judgements.
- Comfortable leading audits and working to tight deadlines.
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across the business.
- Experience in larger or listed organisations is a bonus.
