Financial Controller/Head of Reporting

London (Hybrid | 2 days per week)
£100,000 - £115,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A leading global technology business is seeking an experienced Group Statutory Controller to join its Group Finance function.

This is a high-profile role within an international organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions, offering significant exposure to senior finance leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of the Group's statutory reporting framework.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing statutory reporting activities across a complex global structure, while also leading technical accounting initiatives and supporting key finance projects.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing statutory reporting across a large international entity structure
  • Reviewing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant local GAAP requirements
  • Acting as a key contact for external auditors and managing audit-related activities
  • Providing technical accounting guidance on complex accounting matters
  • Leading the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Partnering with global finance teams to drive consistency and best practice
  • Supporting transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, entity rationalisation, and treasury-related projects
  • Managing and developing a direct report
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and Treasury functions

About You

We are looking for a technically strong finance professional with the ability to operate confidently in a complex multinational environment.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • Big 4 or Top 10 practice training background
  • Proven statutory reporting and technical accounting experience
  • Strong IFRS knowledge
  • Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Exposure to large, international, and multi-entity organisations
  • Experience working with external auditors
  • Understanding of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and treasury-related activities
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The confidence to operate independently and influence teams across different regions
