Head of Fire Risk Assessment
Salary Package Up to £90,000 Total Package Fully Remote | Flexible Working | UK-Wide Projects
Our client is a leading fire safety consultancy delivering Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Management and Training services across the UK. They work with a wide range of well-known organisations and property portfolios, providing expert fire safety advice across residential, healthcare, education, commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial and public sector environments.
They are seeking an experienced Head of Fire Risk Assessment to lead the technical delivery, development and growth of their Fire Risk Assessment team.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Fire Consultant or Technical Lead looking to take ownership of a national Fire Risk Assessment division.
You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, mentoring consultants, maintaining client relationships and driving service growth, whilst remaining involved in complex and high-profile fire safety projects.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, manage your own diary and play a key role in shaping the future direction of a growing consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Fire Risk Assessors across the UK
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance of Fire Risk Assessment reports
- Act as the senior technical authority for complex fire safety matters
- Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation, guidance and best practice
- Support consultants through mentoring, coaching and competency development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Assist with business development, tenders and framework opportunities
- Contribute to operational improvements and service delivery standards
- Conduct peer reviews and support high-risk or technically challenging assessments
- Represent the business at client meetings and industry events
- Manage the P&L account

Desirable
- Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessor status or equivalent
- Membership of the IFE, IFSM, FRACS or equivalent professional body
- Experience leading regional or national Fire Risk Assessment teams
- Experience supporting strategic growth initiatives
- Experience in P&L management
