HEAD OF FLIGHTSOCIALS

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, COMMERCIAL GROWTH

ABOUT FLIGHTSTORY:

We are a media company and investment fund, and we’re on a mission to elevate the stories, build the communities, and support the founders that inspire a happier, healthier humanity. We scale creator-led new media IP and operate an investment fund and venture studio.

ABOUT FLIGHTSOCIALS:

FlightSocials is FlightStory's media growth agency. We partner with creators to turn their content catalogues into revenue, producing high volumes of short-form video and monetisation it on Facebook and other platforms. We leverage the tools and experience developed through growing Steven Bartlett’s own accounts together with the Diary Of A CEO account.

We manage the social accounts for a number of large creators and talent, helping them to grow both revenue and audience on the platforms.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Head of FlightSocials to own the team and the business day-to-day. You'll lead the media growth managers and editors, and you'll be accountable for how the team performs commercially. You'll also be the main point of contact for our creator and talent partners. You'll run the operational processes that keep the business functioning: performance reporting, invoicing and payments, and people management.

This role suits a commercially minded operator who has experience building audiences on Facebook, is able to talk fluently to the mechanics of building and growing on the platform, and is comfortable leading and managing a team of 5+ people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Team leadership and management

  • Lead, coach and develop the FlightSocials team, including media growth managers and editors
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, and run regular 1:1s, reviews and development plans
  • Own resourcing and hiring: define team structure, recruit, and onboard new joiners
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on output quality, speed and commercial impact
  • Manage the working relationship with adjacent teams (including the social brand team), balancing revenue-driven and audience-growth priorities and escalating trade-offs when needed
  • Build the FlightSocials brand both internally and externally

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
