Head of FP&A

Reporting to: CFO

We are seeking a Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management of the business, working closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bring structure and rigour quickly, while adapting reporting and planning processes to a new set of stakeholders and priorities.

Key Deliverables:

  • Rebuild and own the budgeting, rolling forecast, and long-range planning process against the PE value creation plan and covenant requirements
  • Establish monthly performance packs for management and SLT, with clear bridge analysis on revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, headcount, and cost savings versus plan
  • Develop KPI dashboards and reporting cadences fit for sponsor and lender requirements
  • Lead scenario and downside/upside planning to support lender engagement and Board decision-making
  • Drive cash flow and working capital discipline across the business, embedding forecasting and accountability at an operational level
  • Build financial models to support M&A, refinancing, integration, and exit preparation as required
  • Lead and develop the FP&A/FBP team through this period of change, setting clear standards on pace, accuracy, and ownership

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
