Head of FP&A | SaaS / Technology | London | Up to £125k + potential equity

I'm working with a high-growth, technology-led business that is entering an exciting phase of scale and transformation.

They are looking for a Head of FP&A to join the senior finance team and fundamentally rethink how FP&A operates across the business.

This is not a role where you inherit an established FP&A machine and simply keep it running. The brief is to build a more sophisticated, forward-looking finance function - combining strong commercial thinking, robust modelling and reporting with AI, automation and better use of data.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll have significant visibility and influence across the organisation.

The role

You will own the company-wide planning, forecasting, modelling and performance reporting agenda, while becoming a key commercial partner to the Executive team.

Key areas will include:

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
  • Owning and enhancing the core three-statement financial models
  • Developing high-quality management information, dashboards and financial storytelling
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, GTM, Product, Engineering and Operations
  • Supporting pricing decisions, investment cases and strategic decision-making
  • Supporting M&A, due diligence and transaction-readiness
  • Re-engineering FP&A processes through AI, automation and improved data foundations
  • Driving greater forecasting accuracy, efficiency and insight
  • Raising the standard of existing processes and commercial finance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You don't need to have built an AI-native FP&A function before. What matters is that you're curious, commercially minded and excited by the opportunity to rethink how finance can operate.

Why this role?

This is a high-ownership position with the opportunity to shape the FP&A function rather than simply inherit it.

You'll work closely with the CFO and have exposure to the business, strategic planning, growth planning and potential transactions - while having the freedom to introduce new thinking, technology and ways of working.

If you're an experienced FP&A professional from a SaaS / technology environment and this sounds like the kind of role you'd enjoy, please submit an application.
