- Develop and deliver high-quality PE, investor and Board reporting, providing clear analysis of Group performance, key drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Produce and enhance C-suite and senior leadership reporting, translating complex financial and operational data into clear, commercially relevant insight.
- Partner closely with the CFO and COO on Group-wide financial planning, performance and commercial decision-making.
- Lead regular performance reviews with Managing Directors and business leaders, challenging performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with business leaders on budget allocation, headcount planning, investment decisions and resource allocation.
- Support the CFO and wider leadership team with capital allocation, funding and strategic investment decisions.
- Provide financial analysis and commercial support around M&A, strategic investments and post-acquisition integration.
- Support the integration of new businesses into Group budgets, forecasts, reporting and performance management processes.
- Develop and improve management reporting, dashboards and performance metrics across the Group.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand the key drivers of performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability and efficiency.
- Evaluate the financial returns of strategic initiatives, including technology, AI, hiring and commercial investments.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into FP&A, improving the speed, quality and scalability of analysis, reporting and forecasting.
- Support cash flow, liquidity, debt and covenant analysis alongside the CFO.
- Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting, systems and data.
- Help build a scalable, technology-enabled and commercially focused FP&A function capable of supporting the Group's continued growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
