Location: Hybrid working at our office in Wimbledon.

Contract: 12 month fixed-term contract

About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Head of FP&A to join our Group Finance Team. This role will the delivery and coordination of group-wide FP&A activity across the UK, Growth Markets, US and Group functions. The role manages the planning, forecasting, reporting and performance insight cycle, providing a clear and joined-up view of financial performance, risks and opportunities.

This role supports the Head of Business Partnering and FP&A, CFO and senior leaders with accurate analysis, consistent assumptions, robust challenge and clear recommendations. Finance Business Partners retain ownership of day-to-day budget holder relationships and commercial decision support. will support the Procurement team with process management, metric analysis, KRIs and supplier due diligence. Liaise with the finance team to run monthly spend reports and prepare reporting packs.

In addition to the above, it will also support the Procurement Managers in SRM (Supplier relationship management) activities. Perform tasks related to database revision and data management, including data retention as well as be responsible for sourcing products and services with the support of the Procurement Managers and run bench marking activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and consolidate FP&A inputs across the UK, Growth Markets, US and Group functions to provide a single view of financial performance.
  • Manage the FP&A calendar, ensuring budgeting, forecasting, risks and opportunities, reporting and planning cycles run to agreed timelines and standards.
  • Lead monthly and forecast P&L reviews, explaining key variances to budget, forecast and prior year, and highlighting material movements, risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain consistency of key planning assumptions across regions and Group functions, ensuring financial impacts are captured clearly and consistently.
  • Prepare clear, commercially grounded commentary for board packs, budget packs, forecast updates and senior P&L reporting.
  • Track initiative performance and benefits against plan, providing analysis to support business case reviews and senior finance decision making.
  • Prepare scenario and sensitivity analysis to support forecast reviews, risk assessment and senior finance decisions.
  • Coordinate the risks and opportunities process, ensuring material movements are captured, challenged and clearly reported.
  • Ensure FP&A outputs are accurate, reconciled and aligned to agreed data sources, working with Finance Control and Reporting teams as required.
  • Improve the consistency, accuracy and quality of reporting packs, dashboards, analysis and commentary across the FP&A cycle.
  • Manage, coach and develop the FP&A specialist and finance analysts.

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualified accountant or equivalent experience, with strong FP&A, financial planning, reporting and performance analysis capability.
  • Strong understanding of the business model, P&L drivers, accounting standards and relevant financial treatments.
  • Able to work across multiple regions and Group functions, consolidating complex information into clear financial insight.
  • Strong analytical capability and data literacy, with the ability to work through complex information and turn it into clear messages.
  • Experience supporting budget setting, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, risks and opportunities and scenario modelling.
  • Able to identify financial risks, interpret external factors such as macro-economic developments and assess potential impact on plans or forecasts.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting and planning tools such as Workday, Cognos, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Confident communicator who can explain financial information clearly to senior finance and business audiences.
