Job Title: Head of FP&A
Industry: High Growth Technology Group
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary Guide: c. £100,000 - £120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
REF: MR54139
Our client is a high-growth, extremely well funded, technology business that is building a cyber-security platform for the global telecoms industry. Backed by two major international shareholders, the business is now moving from early platform deployment into international commercialisation.
Description
This is a newly created Head of FP&A role at the analytical heart of the business, reporting into the CFO and taking ownership of FP&A across the Group. The remit spans budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, commercial analysis, KPI reporting and business partnering, with significant exposure to the leadership team.
Skills
The successful candidate for this Head of FP&A role will be a qualified accountant, bringing strong experience from a high-growth technology, SaaS, telecoms or infrastructure environment, with excellent financial modelling skills and a track record of owning planning and forecasting cycles. You will be commercially minded, analytically rigorous and comfortable translating complex numbers into clear insight for senior non-financial stakeholders. This is effectively a well-funded start-up, so there are some initial separation headaches that need to be worked through. It requires someone up for a challenge, with a hands-on approach, as well as a level head and resilience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
