Interim Head of FP&A - 6-Month contract - PE backed Tech
Salary: £130,000-£140,000 doe annualised or equivalent day rate outside IR35
Location: Remote or office in central London Hybrid (flexible)
Start: ASAP, ideally next week.
The Business
A private equity-backed international technology and services business is looking to appoint an experienced Head of FP&A for an initial six-month period.
The business is going through a period of strategic and commercial change, with a focus on improving forecasting, management information, and decision-making.

The Head of FP&A will take ownership of planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis, while improving reporting across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the forecasting and planning process
- Building and improving financial models
- Producing analysis around business performance and strategic initiatives
- Supporting Board and senior leadership reporting
- Improving commercial reporting across sales, customers, and deal economics
- Using BI and CRM data to strengthen insight
- Challenging assumptions and providing clear commercial judgement
- Improving FP&A processes and reporting discipline

The Ideal Candidate
You will ideally bring:
- Strong SaaS, technology, or professional services experience
- Previous exposure to a private equity-backed environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong BI and reporting experience
- Experience working with CRM and commercial data
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management
- Experience with Board-level reporting
- A hands-on approach in a fast-moving environment
Experience using AI tools within finance would be advantageous.
