Head of FP&A | PE-Backed Data Centre Platform
Camino Search is partnered with a high-growth, private equity-backed data centre business to appoint a Head of FP&A. The business is scaling capacity across multiple sites, and the quality of its planning and investment analysis is central to how it allocates capital and reports to its sponsor and lenders.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead planning, forecasting, and performance reporting, and act as a key commercial partner to the leadership team.
- Own the budget, reforecast, and long-range plan, linking build-out phasing, capex, and funding requirements
- Build and maintain the group financial model, including site-level economics and returns per MW
- Translate sales pipeline and contracted capacity into revenue, margin, and cash forecasts
- Deliver monthly management and board reporting, with clear KPIs such as contracted and live MW, utilisation, PUE, and churn
- Support investment cases for new sites and expansions, as well as lender, sponsor, and value creation plan reporting
- Partner with operations, development, and commercial teams, and build out the FP&A team

About You
- Qualified accountant or equivalent, with senior FP&A experience in a growth business
- Strong modelling capability, ideally including project or asset-level investment analysis
- Experience in data centres, infrastructure, telecoms, energy, or another capital-intensive sector
- Exposure to PE ownership, board reporting, and lender requirements
- Confident communicator who can turn complex numbers into decisions
