What You'll Be Doing
- The Head of Projects & IT FP&A will lead financial planning and analysis across Projects and IT, partnering with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial insight, challenge and oversight of budgets, forecasts, investments and technology initiatives to support commercially sound decision-making and People’s Partnership’s growth strategy.
- Lead and develop the FP&A team, providing high-quality financial insight, strategic challenge and support to senior leadership across Projects and IT.
- Own financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for Projects and IT, ensuring plans and expenditure align with wider business strategy and objectives.
- Oversee project financial management, including capital expenditure, operating costs, benefits tracking and long-term investment planning, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Manage Enterprise Business Planning activities, partnering closely with Change, IT and other stakeholders to ensure consistent planning and reporting across strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate technology investments and manage costs, assessing the financial viability and value of IT systems and initiatives while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and optimisation.
- Deliver insightful performance reporting and analysis, including variance analysis, P&L reviews, cost modelling and ad-hoc analysis to support senior management decision-making.
- Drive strong governance and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with financial, regulatory and risk requirements while improving FP&A processes, tools and systems and promoting TCF, D&I and company values.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership skills, with experience developing and managing high-performing FP&A teams.
- Proven FP&A experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and modelling.
- Excellent stakeholder management, particularly with senior, IT and project-based stakeholders.
- Strong IT and project finance knowledge, including CapEx, OpEx and technology investment evaluation.
- Highly analytical and commercially focused, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong understanding of financial services, pensions, risk and regulatory requirements.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with relevant financial services experience.
