Head of FP&A

We are partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site organisation to recruit a high-calibre Head of FP&A. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, offering strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to drive strategic decision-making across a complex, multi-entity business. Multi-site experience is essential for this role.
The Opportunity
This position sits at the heart of the finance function, leading planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple business units. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insight that drives commercial decisions and long-term growth.

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, consolidating across multiple sites
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support growth and strategic initiatives
- Deliver monthly management reporting with clear insights and actionable commentary
- Perform variance analysis to track performance against budgets and forecasts
- Provide commercial analysis, including competitor and market insight
- Evaluate investment opportunities, projects, and capital allocation decisions
- Build strong relationships with regional MDs and operational leaders
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing FP&A team
- Support senior finance leadership with ad hoc strategic projects
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Significant FP&A experience within a multi-site business (essential)
- Proven experience operating in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
