THE COMPANY
Our client is a successful banking firm with a strong global presence across Wholesale and Capital Markets.
They are seeking a Head of Fraud to join the Fraud team, within Compliance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the EMEA Fraud Risk Management framework.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the fraud team
- Further develop and enhance the EMEA Fraud framework
- This includes making recommendations for, and where appropriate implement improvements to the fraud systems and controls.
- Analyse and interpret the fraud regulations and laws to enforce effective management, oversight and implementation of fraud policies, procedures and standards
- Be the experienced subject matter expert on fraud and act in an advisory capacity within the 2LoD.
- This includes leading the provision of support and guidance to the EMEA offices regarding Fraud risk management.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practice and ensure a good understanding of financial crime requirements.
- Identify and address any training needs across all departments within the 3 lines of defence framework.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Strong SME in fraud prevention and frameworks in an investment banking/wholesale environment
- Ability to work well under pressure ensuring all deadlines are met, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail at all times.
- Experience in implementing enterprise wide Fraud risk management frameworks.
- Experienced decision maker, with the ability to influence and motivate at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
